FARZACK DES ABBAYES - Information

Farzack des Abbayes, seems to live up to all expectations

Under Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer, Farzack des Abbayes is developing very positively, and his international record is characterised by a consistent number of clear rounds and placings. Last year, he achieved results at 1.50m-level at the CSIO3* in Mannheim and finished fourth in the Big Tour class at CSI2* St Tropez.

In 2019, this Selle Français and Zangersheide licensed stallion became French champion among the four year old stallion at the championships in Fontainebleau. In addition to a strong start in international sport, the Montender son has also made a convincing beginning as a sire. Paul Hendrix comments: “Farzack is progressing very well in sport and has also made an immediate impression with his first offspring. His foals have achieved strong prices at the auctions, and his oldest offspring are already proving to be made of the right material. Farzack has a great future ahead of him in both sport and breeding, that is certain.” His oldest offspring were born in 2021.

Farzack des Abbayes is sired by Montender, who was unprecedentedly successful for years. Under Marco Kutscher he won double bronze at the Olympics and double gold at the European Championshio. Montender made progress in breeding thanks to outliers such as Tokyo du Soleil, Monte Bellini and Messenger. Dam Palme du Landey already foaled the international 1.45m showjumper Urtimack des Abbayes and the 1.40m-level performer Valmack des Abbayes. A large number of international showjumpers originate from this French damline, including Grand Prix showjumper Viva de Malica.
