Farzack des Abbayes, the promising French champion
For decades, France has been one of the leading breeding countries in the world. With the promising five-year-old Farzack des Abbayes, Stal Hendrix offers an outstanding French talent available for breeding. At the national championships in Fontainebleau, this French and Zangersheide approved stallion won the championship title for the four-year-olds in 2019.
The sensational jumping Farzack des Abbayes has had a strong season in France and is developing well at Stal Hendrix. His own qualities in combination with his strong origines make him very valuable for breeding. He is sired by the Olympic stallion Montender, who was unprecedentedly successful for years. Under Marco Kutscher this Contender son won individual and team bronze at the Olympic Games in Athens and at the EC in San Patrignano he won the gold medal both individually and with the team. Montender made progress in breeding thanks to outliers on the highest level such as Tokyo du Soleil, Monte Bellini and Messenger. Dam Palme du Landey combines the top sires Flipper d’Elle and Socrate de Chivre in her pedigree and she already foaled in combination with L’Arc de Triomphe the international 1.45m showjumper Urtimack des Abbayes (Sham Al Assad) and the on 1.40m level performing Valmack des Abbayes (Regis Bouguennec).
Numerous international showjumpers have already emerged from this French dam line, including Kevin Staut’s Grand Prix showjumper Viva de Malica (s.Lagon de l’Abbaye). Farzack des Abbayes has a good conformation, very interesting bloodlines and a fantastic canter in which he has a lot of balance. On the jump he stands out with his good technique, scope and effort.
