Entertainer, strongly developing in sports and breeding
After a successful sport career in the young horse classes under Pieter Keunen, Entertainer is now one of Michel Hendrix’s top horses. On international 1.50m level, this remarkable chestnut stallion shows his high-profile qualities. Earlier Entertainer ended up on the third place in the Dutch championship for six-year-olds, and he claimed the seventh position at the World Championships. In 2019 he achieved great results in international classes, including a fourth place in the 1.45m class of CSI2* De Peelbergen, a fifth place in the 1.50m class of CSI4* Saint Tropez and a fourth place in the 1.45m class at the same competition.
Entertainer is also making progress as a breeding stallion. He really puts his stamp and passes on his conformation, front, canter, blood and technique to his offspring. The KWPN approved his son Karamba, which comes out of his second year of breeding. In the young horse competitions the offspring of Entertainer stand out with their jumping talent, reflexes and good rideability. Two of them were sold at the Dutch Sport Horse Sales: the promising Jermaine HX and Joyko Keysershof.
Given his excellent pedigree, it is no wonder that Entertainer is an asset in breeding. He is sired by the Grand Prix stallion Warrant, who also produced World Champion Garant and several GP show jumpers. His dam Shilavsca Fortuna previously foaled the Carolus II son Cooper, who was sold for € 105,000 during the Expo Talent Sale and is now competing on 1.40m level. Dam Shilavsca Fortuna jumped at 1.30m level and from this direct line also descend meritorious international show jumpers such as Bulavsco (Sanne Thijssen), Brighton Bay (Emma Augier de Moussac), Zellobee (Maureen Bonder) and Bull Run’s Divine Fortune (Kristen Vanderveen).
