Ludovicus approved for the KWPN with 83,5 points

1 June 2019

After Kardinaal HX and Kempinski last year, the KWPN studbook approved another great talent of Stal Hendrix today. The Edinburgh son Ludovicus, bred by co-owner Jos Althuyzen, received a wonderful score of 83.5 in the performance test. That made him one of the outliers of this 50 days test in Ermelo.

The three-years-old Ludovicus (Edinburgh x Balou du Rouet) demonstrated his qualities during the final presentation this morning. In the performance report he is described as an honest, reliable and sympathetic stallion with a good to very good attitude. His canter is powerful, active and has a lot of balance. Ludovicus is very focused on the jump and he jumps with good to very good reflexes and a good use of body. Ludovicus seems careful and shows much to very much athletic scope and has the quality to be able to stretch easily above the jump. That resulted in a nice grade list with 8.5s for the canter, reflexes, scope, attitude and ability as a showjumper. From now on Ludovicus is available for breeding at Stal Hendrix in Kessel.
