GP victories for Hendrick’s HX and Isabella HX

20 July 2021

Michel Hendrix achieved a great result by taking the victory in the Grand Prix of CSI2* Opglabbeek last weekend. He claimed this win with the Bustique offspring Hendrick’s HX, who comes from Stal Hendrix’s own breeding. In Finland another Stal Hendrix bred horse took the win. Isabella HX won the national Grand Prix under Sanna Backlund, and with that she led a complete top 4 of Stal Hendrix horses.

Ten combinations qualified for the jump-off of the Grand Prix at the Sentower Park in Opglabbeek. With almost a full second lead, Michel took the victory aboard nine-year-old Hendrick’s HX. This Bustique offspring was bred out of the international sport mare Kathja (s.Concorde) and already won a 1.45m class with Michel Hendrix last May.

4 Stal Hendrix horses
Sanna Backlund was the only one to stay double clear in the Silver Grand Prix in Aino, Finland. With Isabella HX (Diamant de Semilly out of the Grand Prix mare Melisimo s.Libero H), sold through Dutch Sport Horse Sales, in the Silver Grand Prix in Aino, Finland. The Zandor Z daughter Goanita HX (out of the Grand Prix mare Bonita s.Bal Pare) who was previously very successful under Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer, showed in this national Grand Prix that she can also achieve good performances with new rider Peppi Salo. They finished second, just ahead of Petra Heikkinen with Hands Up HX (Applaus x Vittorio), which was also bred and trained by Stal Hendrix, while Wilma Heikkinen ended up fourth with Elvis PS (s.Zidane), which was sold by Stal Hendrix.
