Three stallions selected for performance test!

1 February 2018

Our stallions have achieved a 100% score at the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch. On the first day, both Platino-Larus and Klacid of Cicero are selected for the performance test, and today the home-bred Kardinaal HX was able to join them. As icing on the cake, this Don Diablo HX son was invited to the championship, in which he was placed fourth.

Future talent Klacid of Cicero (Cicero Z x Indoctro) was purchased as a foal at the Limburg Foal Auction and he is bred out of the family of international show jumpers like My Girl (Ian Millar) and Cupido V (Maikel van der Vleuten). He is bred by J. Vrenken and was praised for his stallion conformation and his jumping quality, with which he has been able to convince in both the first and second round viewings. The Darco son Platino-Larus (ds.Lupicor), was purchased after the first selection round in Ermelo, has also made a good impression in Den Bosch. This remarkable chestnut is also selected for the KWPN stallion performance test. He is bred by J. Hoppenbrouwers and comes from the well-known damline of Hans de Roover, from which many international show jumpers originate.

Home bred talent
From our own breeding comes eye catcher Kardinaal HX. This son of Don Diablo HX is bred out of Michel’s former Grand Prix horse Wimette (by Karandasj) and excels with his power and scope. That, in combination with his interesting pedigree and athletic conformation, was also reason for the committee to invite him for the champion ring, in which he was placed fourth. With that he also raised confidence for the performance test.
