KWPN approval for Cape Coral RBF Z

2 March 2024

The rapidly up-and-coming sire Cape Coral RBF Z has now also been approved by the KWPN. Based on his remarkable offspring and his own performances up to international 1.50m level, he only needed to participate in the five-day character test in Ermelo, which he passed with great ease. This son of Cornet Obolensky will be available for breeding this upcoming season with fresh and frozen semen.

The stallion, bred by Marcel and Maryelle Coenen from Roggel, has been standing at Stal Hendrix for many years and has already produced a series of remarkable horses. His eldest offspring are already performing at international 1.40/1.45m level. He has had two sons approved by the KWPN so far, and all sixteen mares presented at the mare inspections received one or more predicates. Cape Coral RBF Z offspring also stand out in ability tests and young horse competitions, a fact noted by the KWPN as well. Based on all findings, the KWPN has prepared a positive descendant report in which his offspring are praised for their long-lined models, good toplines, correct foundations, and light-footed canter. Additionally, the balance, take-off, use of the body, and athletic ability of Cape Coral RBF Z’s offspring are noted as remarkable characteristics.
