Grand Prix victory for Lambrusco in Riesenbeck
9 February 2026
The strong results of our stallion Lambrusco (s.Entertainer) continue to pile up, and last week he reached a new highlight under Giampiero Garofalo. At the CSI2* in Riesenbeck, the chestnut stallion won his first international Grand Prix.
It was a well-deserved victory in the main class of Riesenbeck International. In the jump-off, Giampiero and Lambrusco left six combinations behind them, three of which also jumped clear again. With a margin of more than two seconds over the runner-up, the Stal Hendrix duo claimed the Grand Prix title.
Strong start to 2026
This is certainly not the first strong result for the ten-year-old stallion and Giampiero. At the beginning of January, they won the national 1.45m Grand Prix in Peelbergen, and at the end of January they jumped to second place in the VHO Trophy, the stallion Grand Prix, at the KWPN Stallion Show in Den Bosch. In addition, they already finished third in the 1.45m on the first day in Riesenbeck, and a fifth place in the 1.45m in Lier also ranks among the highlights of 2026 so far. Giampiero and Lambrusco have now been a combination for about a year and a half.
