First Grand Prix victory for Oda and Jabiola

10 July 2023

The first Grand Prix victory for Oda Charlotte Lyngvaer and the Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof mare Jabiola is a fact! Last Sunday they made great advertisement by winning the Grand Prix of CSI2* Budapest, where Oda also successfully competed with other horses.

At the beginning of last year, Oda Charlotte got the ride on the excellent jumping Jabiola. The mare was bred by Ad Smolders -the uncle of Harrie- and she had already written history as a young horse by earning 95 points for free jumping at the KWPN mare inspection. Jabiola is now proving itself in the sport. In only their second 2* Grand Prix, they were able to leave all competition behind in Hungary. Oda also achieved good results with the stallion Farzack des Abbayes, they finished fourth in the 1.40m class on Saturday and they were also clear and placed on the first day at this level. Oda and the rest of the Stal Hendrix team now travel on to Samorin.
