Don Diablo HX wins stallion Grand Prix!

1 February 2018

By winning the stallions Grand Prix at the KWPN Stallion Show, Michel Hendrix made sure the Vittorio son Don Diablo HX had double success today. As a breeding stallion he already made an impression as sire of the selected stallion Kardinaal HX, who finished fourth in the championship.

Two stallions stayed clear in the first round of this 1.50m Grand Prix for approved KWPN stallions. It was the final piece of the sporting evening at the KWPN Stallion Show. The equally great jumping stallion Entertainer (by Warrant) just missed out the jump-off. Riding the powerful and scopey Don Diablo HX, Michel was again able to win a sports class at the stallion show, after they had already won the VHO Trophy (1.40m) two years ago. “It was not an easy task today, especially the triple jump below the scoreboard was a tricky part. But Don Diablo HX jumped great and I am very happy that we could finish it in the jump-off. He is such a fighter and has such a super attitude!”
