Newmarket VM, developing into an outstanding showjumper
After making a strong impression in the young horse and stallion competitions, where he produced a series of clear rounds, Newmarket VM has been partnered with Lisa Nooren since the autumn of 2025. With his good jumping technique, athletic scope, carefulness, quick reflexes and good attitude, he is one of the eyecatchers of his year. Newmarket VM is now demonstrating this at 1.40m-level.
“Newmarket VM has a great future ahead of him and is now continuing his sporting career from Stal Hendrix. Last year, he also made a strong impression with his first daughters at the inspections,” says Paul Hendrix. His daughter Soleil de Lys finished fifth in the final of the National Mare Championship (NMK), and his daughter Sizora JB also stood out with a very strong showing at the national championships. “We are sure that Newmarket VM can become a stakeholder. He combines an incredible model with a lot of stallion expression, a top pedigree and a way of jumping that you rarely see. On top of that, his first offspring born in 2022 seem to have all that we can wish for: athletic conformation, development and good movements.” His sire, the late Chacoon Blue, competed at 1.50m-level and established himself as a highly influential sire, with 1.50/1.60m-level offspring such as Chatadel PS, Check Me Out PS, Kannoon Blue and Chactensky PS. Newmarket VM’s dam Nouvelle Star Z has already produced several showjumpers and brings in the valuable genes of top class progenitors Numero Uno and Carthago. From this direct line already comes the international sport and breeding stallion Zambesi.
