Bustique, developing into a top progenitor
The advance of Bustique, who returned to Stal Hendrix in 2019, is remarkable. His son Beauville Z won two Grand Prix and a World Cup in 2019, and also offspring like Berdien Z, Footlose HX and Golia already made good advertisement. Paul Hendrix: “Bustique produces top showjumpers, he follows in the footsteps of his sire Indoctro. More than ten offspring are competing in 1.50/1.60m classes and 45 offspring on 1.35-1.45m level. And his oldest offspring turn only 11 this year!”
Bustique was placed in international 1.45/1.50m classes and is a sibling of the Grand Prix showjumpers Mustique and Noor, with which he represents a solid performance family.
His progeny are very successful. Out of his first year Bustique produced Maikel van der Vleuten’s top performer Beauville Z. In 2019 they won the GCT-GP of Monte Carlo, the World Cup of La Coruna as well as the GP of Ommen. Last year they also claimed victories, including in Lier and Aachen. From the same year comes the Dutch champion mare Footlose HX, who has competed in her first GPs. Although his first offspring are from 2010, Bustique is already placed 66th on the WBFSH sire ranking.
