Bustique, an established progenitor of Grand Prix showjumpers

For years, Bustique has consistently ranked high in the WBFSH Sire Rankings. Out of his first breeding years, more than 70 descendants are competing in international classes. Including none other than the outstanding Grand Prix and World Cup winner Beauville Z (ds.Jumpy des Fontaines), with whom Maikel van der Vleuten made history by winning his second individual bronze medal at the Olympic Games last year. Previously, they had already secured team silver and individual bronze at the WEG in Herning. Bustique couldn’t ask for a better ambassador than Beauville Z!

In addition, Bustique continues to prove himself broadly and consistently through an impressive group of international offspring. Horses such as Bonita vh Keizershof Z, Florida Balia NL, Hendrick’s HX, Berdien, Fabalia, and several up-and-coming Grand Prix horses confirm his exceptional breeding power. Bustique was placed in international 1.45/1.50m-classes with Michel Hendrix. After staying in the United States of America for a couple of years he has returned to Stal Hendrix in 2019. The first offspring after his comeback turn five this year. Top progenitor Bustique is a sibling to the Grand Prix showjumpers Mustique and Noor, and represents a solid performance family.
