Don Diablo HX, the rising star in sport and breeding
Don Diablo HX has developed into one of the top horses of Michel Hendrix. At the start of this year(2018) won the 1.50m Grand Prix at the KWPN Stallion Show, and they have also achieved several top rankings at this level internationally. Already at the age of nine, the stallion made his 1.60m debut and Don Diablo HX has a lot of potential as a Grand Prix show jumper.
In the pedigree of Don Diablo HX the refined stallion Vittorio is brought together with the prominent Niki-damline, known for producing top horses like GP winner Apollo of Nick Skelton and the Olympic Promise Me of Ian Millar. His dam Zolaniki has competed in Norway at 1.40m level ridden by Celine Marie Foss and is a half-sister of three (inter)national 1.40m show jumpers, including Coeur de Chéri (by Verdi). Granddam Pippi-Niki is a half-sister of the Grand Prix show jumping horse Lajos (by Faust Z), the 1.50m jumping Joniki (by Derrick) and the stallion Ekstein (by Zion). Sire Vittorio performed at international 1.50m level and proves his value as a breeding stallion with his successful offspring, like Barcelona, Dittorio-S and Coup de Foudre V.
As a sire, the KWPN approved stallion Don Diablo HX impresses strongly. He passes on a lot of blood, attitude and quality to his offspring. That has already led to success, as he is the sire of two vice champions at the National Mare Show, namely the Limburg champion mares Irmette Balia PJ (ds.Ustinov) and Jauanda T (ds.Quintero). The offspring of Don Diablo HX are also very standing out in the young horse competitions. In 2018, his son Kardinaal HX is approved by the KWPN.
